Courses Offered

  • To enrol in the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Esports at Genesis ESPORTS Academy, students typically need:

    • 3 or more GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above
      (Preferably including English or Maths)

    OR

    • Completion of a Level 1 course in a related subject such as ICT, Media, Sport, or Business

    AND

    • A genuine interest in esports, gaming, or digital media

    • A positive attitude toward teamwork, communication, and project-based learning

    • Basic digital skills (e.g. using a computer, creating presentations, navigating platforms like YouTube or Twitch)

    Note:
    Support will be provided for learners who need to improve their English and Maths or build confidence in digital tools.

    Overview:
    An introduction to the esports industry for students aged 16+. This course builds foundational knowledge and skills in competitive gaming, event planning, and digital content creation.

  • Train to become the voice of esports. Practice live commentary, improve your presentation style, and build your confidence on mic.

    • Record a demo reel of your casting

    • Certificate: GEA Shoutcasting Basics

  • Edit gameplay, highlight reels, or promo clips like a pro. Learn visual storytelling, basic animation, and personal branding strategies.

    • Add sound effects, music, transitions

    • Create intros, outros & thumbnails
