To enrol in the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Esports at Genesis ESPORTS Academy, students typically need:
3 or more GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above
(Preferably including English or Maths)
OR
Completion of a Level 1 course in a related subject such as ICT, Media, Sport, or Business
AND
A genuine interest in esports, gaming, or digital media
A positive attitude toward teamwork, communication, and project-based learning
Basic digital skills (e.g. using a computer, creating presentations, navigating platforms like YouTube or Twitch)
Note:
Support will be provided for learners who need to improve their English and Maths or build confidence in digital tools.
